Why we started EverFree

EverFree is a food company built around one idea: that genuinely good food does not require gluten to be genuinely good.

We make sweet cookies, savoury biscuits, and baking mixes. Everything is gluten-free. The sweet range is also vegan and dairy-free. And everything is made in our own UK facility, from ingredients we are happy to name.

But gluten-free is not where the story starts. It is where it ends up - after starting with flavour, nutrition, and the kind of ingredients that belong in a kitchen.

The problem we saw

The gluten-free category has grown quickly. The quality has not always kept pace.

Most free-from products start from constraint - remove the gluten, find something that holds it together, add enough sugar or flavouring to make it edible. The result is food that tells you immediately what it does not have, rather than what it does.

If you are coeliac, or wheat-sensitive, or simply trying to eat without certain ingredients, you have probably made peace with that compromise. We think you should not have to.

And if you are not avoiding gluten at all - you should still want to eat this. Because good food is good food, regardless of what is not in it.

  • What EverFree does differently

    We started from the flavour and the nutrition. Not from a long list of things to avoid, but from the question: what does a really good cookie taste like, and how do we make that with ingredients that actually contribute something?

    That meant clean ingredients - the kind where you recognise every item on the list. It meant proper recipe development, not substitution. And it meant choosing ingredients for what they bring to the table.

    The result is a range that is high in fibre, naturally rich in minerals and B vitamins, and good for your gut. Real flavours at real percentages - 10% hazelnut, 10% pistachio, 8% lemon peel, 5% cinnamon.

    These are not decorative - they are the reason the products taste the way they do.

    No palm oil. No soy. No artificial colours, flavours, or preservatives.
